"Epic"

I have been on tour with MV five times now. Myoko is an amazing place, the food, people and most of all the SNOW! It doesn’t take long to figure out the staff at MV have a serious passion for what they do. Zac your guide will make sure you experience the best Myoko has to offer and trust me he definitely knows where to find some amazing food!! As for the snow, if you’ve never experienced Jpow, get ready to have your mind blown! Be guided through this winter wonderland, new terrain every day, amazing views and expert tuition. I seriously cannot recommend this company enough; from beginner to expert the guys at MV will have you hitting bigger steeper terrain the right way and with confidence. But don’t take my word for it, come and experience it for yourself and join me on my 6th tour in 2023.

"exceeded expectations"

This tour exceeded all of my expectations. The week ran seamlessly with everything from dinners, going out, trips to local onsens, night boarding and transfers to and from different locations. The instruction I received on the snow was fantastic, my skills and ability improved significantly. Myoko itself was brilliant, it wasn't packed with tourists which I loved and finally the snow was out of control!
I had powder up to my knees which was insane. 
I'll be coming back without a doubt

"100% recommend"

Tour leader Zac was very helpful, patient, friendly, passionate snowboarder. Who was always willing to share his knowledge and give hints and tips throughout the entire trip. Zac and the other instructors took us to different mountains each day, riding fresh powder through the trees and park. Always encouraging us to push our snowboarding skills further.
We stayed at villa monrepos a family owned Ski in ski out hotel with great food, cooked breakfast, cold tap beer, hot onsen bath and friendly staff and one very shy dog.
Japan Snow Tour is very well priced, would 100% recommend this tour if you want to improve your snowboarding skills and have a great time.

“Hassle free, jam packed”

Right from the point of first contact to the end of the tour Mountain Ventures  were professional, organised and definitely prepared to put on a great week for everyone across the board.
Everything ran smoothly - from the transfers from the airport to our accommodation (Villa Monrepos) to the daily travel to and from the different ski resorts including having the lift passes prepared each morning and also the dinners each night - there was just no hiccups. This was a very important factor in having a good time for me, having been overseas on ski holidays organised by myself in the past I can 100% say it is worth every dollar when it goes as smoothly as this did.
Aside from the professionalism, both Zac and the team from MV were fun to be around which was also very important. Having a random group of people come together for a week not knowing what they are like can be tough but they both did a great job in catering for everyone's different personalities and making sure we all had a quality time.
Zac's snowboarding knowledge was fantastic and as an instructor was able to quickly identify and advise on what I needed to do to be better. This was again, very important for me as I definitely want to improve myself as a snowboarder and more time with Zac on the snow will definitely allow me to learn and become better.
All in all, it was an incredible holiday and would 100% recommend to anyone wanting an amazing guided snow adventure.

“Froffing good times!”

A phenomenal tour! I can't recommend it enough. Run by Zac, a passionate, energetic guide who goes to every length to fulfil your snowboarding dreams! We boarded in completely different terrain every day, ate a different kind of food each night and had some ridiculously good times. I'll be back next year, can't wait for more of that Japow!

“The ultimate snow week!”

The only bad thing I could say about this tour is the countdown from when I booked till when I boarded my plane.
After arriving in Myoko, Zac ensured that I was all settled in and an introduction to the "Whole Banana" crepe for the first afternoon and then the fun began… A ton of mountains, a ton of snow and some new friends from different parts of the globe.
Zac takes the snow tour to the next level by not only looking after you on the mountains, but also off the mountain with all the great things Myoko has to offer.
Would 100% recommend MV for your next snow trip.

“First time snowboarder to riding blue runs in a week”

The Mountain Ventures Myoko snowboarding venture was awesome. The tour guide was helpful, easy going and easy to approach, making it easy to ask questions and chat. The instructor was helpful and encouraging with lots of energy and gave you the chance to learn at your own pace. It was exciting getting to go to different mountains each day, trying them out and experiencing their different types of slopes and lifts each one offered. The hotel was homey and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and made the end of each day so much more relaxing. Its fireplace offered an excellent meeting place that made it easy to meet up in the mornings and at night. All in all I had an excellent experience and hope to do it again next year.

“Definitely be doing it again”

Having no experience with snowboarding or even snow for a matter of fact, the Mountain Ventures Japan snow tour was beyond what I expected. Having such an easy approach vibe, the instructors where phenomenal, they had enough energy to keep us going even when we had big crashes. They made you feel like it wasn’t time to give up, but being able to go at our own pace was what helped a lot of the time. We went to a different mountain every day and got to experience quite a variety of terrain. We were lucky on our rest day it snowed for the entire day so when we got back out for our fourth day of snowboarding, we had started to pick up some considerable speed and because of all the fresh snow it was a soft landing, though digging yourself out of a half meter of powder sure is tiring. The hotels location couldn’t be better nestled on the side of a run you could wake up walk out the door and snowboard off to where ever for the day. The staff where unbelievable, they were very friendly and attentive; they would help with anything we needed. The building itself had a very warm vibe to it, the fireplace in the centre was an exceptional gathering area for just meeting up or even hanging out with other guests. The whole experience was unbelievable and unforgettable I enjoyed myself so much I will definitely be going back next year.
