EVEREST BASE CAMP VENTURE ITINERARY

Day 1 - Your Venture begins!

The day you’ve been counting down to is finally here!

 

After arriving into Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your luxury boutique guest house in Kathmandu central. Spend some time getting settled and checking out the town before meeting everyone joining you on this epic adventure at the Welcome Dinner, with traditional dancers and music.

Day 2 - Fly to Lukla and begin your trek!

After breakfast you will be shuttled to the airport to take your domestic flight to Lukla(2840m), a very interesting airport!

Once landed our trek begins with a nice easy hike to Pakding(2610m) where we will spend the night.

Day 3 - The climb to Namche

We continue, trekking from Pakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m), the most major town on the walk to Base Camp. If you have forgotten any gear, don’t stress, Namche will have it.

Day 4 - Acclimatisation day 1

One of the most important steps in trekking at altitude, today we hike a minimum of 200 meters up, checking out the amazing views along the way, then back down to our days starting point.

Day 5 - Namche to Deboche via Tengboche

Take a steady stroll up to Tengboche(3860m) to check out the amazing Monastery and then continue on to Deboche(3820m) where we will spend the night.

Day 6 - Deboche to Dingboche

We continue our trek to our next town, Dingboche(4410m), ready for our next acclimatisation day. The flora starts to disperse and the terrain becomes more rugged as we get higher and higher.

Day 7 - Acclimatisation day 2

After breakfast we head out for our acclimatisation hike before returning back to Dingboche for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 8 - Dingboche to Loboche

We are certainly getting high up in the altitude now, hiking to Loboche(4910m) just below 5000 meters.

Day 9 - Everest Base Camp Day!

The day you’ve been building up to has finally come! Today we reach Everest Base Camp (5364m) after heading through Gorak Shep (5140m), the original base camp.

Day 10 - Max altitude day!

Today is a day definitely worth waking up early for! Take the optional hike up Kala Patthar (5550m) to watch the sunrise over stunning Mount Everest, make sure to bring your cameras!

After sunrise we begin our trek back down, staying in Pheriche (4240m) for the night.

Day 11/12 - Trekking down

2 days trekking down stopping in Namche Bazaar for a night will then see you back in Lukla where we started our amazing journey.

Day 13 - Fly to Kathmandu

That's it for our trek; it's time to fly back to Kathmandu where you will enjoy our luxury hotel and farewell dinner and share stories about your adventure with all your new friends.

Day 14 - Your Venture continues...

It’s sadly time to say goodbye, we have no doubt you will have enjoyed your time on this epic venture.

Today you will either take your international flight onwards or continue your journey onwards if you have prearranged to stay in Nepal for longer.
